Most Scenic Road Trip Destinations for 2019!

Road trips are good for the soul. They give us a chance for self-reflection, to meet like-minded people, to experience things that can’t be found in city life. There’s no better way to take a break than to go on a refreshing road trip! To help you plan a road trip, we’ve gathered some easy-for-you options below.

Shall we begin?

Mumbai to Pune

A road that runs parallel to the well-known Mumbai Pune Expressway is formed by the NH4 and Old Mumbai Pune Highway. The Expressway is not allowed for bike riders. However, if you’re traveling by car, you can get a scenic view of the Western Ghats. Best time to take this road trip from Mumbai to Pune is between August and March as the climate is cooler.

Chennai To Pondicherry

Along the East Coast Road, you get a view of the Bay of Bengal, lush green rice fields and fishing villages. It is also the shortest route covering 156 kilometers. On your way, you can visit the magnificent Alamparai Fort ruins. Alamparai Fort is 3.5 km from Kadapakkam in the East Coast Road. October and February are the best months to visit Pondicherry as the climate is cool and pleasant for sightseeing.

Delhi To Jaipur

A 6-hour ride from Delhi takes you to Jaipur! Behind Jaipur’s magnetism are gorgeous attractions like Amber Fort, Jaigarh Fort, City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal, Jai Mahal, Birla Temple, and Nahargarh Fort. Well, the destination is not the only jewel you find. The views you get on the road are as pretty as a picture!

Ahmedabad to Kutch

The Ahmedabad to Kutch distance is 340 km. The Great Rann of Kutch has the world’s largest salt desert. Starting from Ahmedabad, you want to reach Kutch via Dholvira, Mandvi, and Bhuj. The destination is what makes it an unbeatable road trip.  The vast and arid expanse of the place will leave you bedazzled.

The place is known for its hand-woven embroidery, patch-work, vibrant bandhni & block prints, pottery, interesting tie & dye technique, and other handicrafts. If this falls in your interests, you can visit Kutch during November which is when the Rann Utsav Festival starts.

This list is just a starter. India is a huge land and honestly, we think you can go off on a tangent and choose your own custom route and destination. When you do so, use Traeser to keep your trip planning headaches minimum!
